Why are we looking for models
In Short: We are a creative photography team, looking at a range of concepts that challenge the views and perceptions of the viewer. To do this we need 'models' to helps us.
What is a 'model'? Well, simply stated it is the person who is in front of the camera. Experience, though great, isn't necessary, we will take you through every step.
As for who we are looking for? In short, you need to be aged 16 to 70, and any sex. We have a model release that you can look at here Model Release

Who am I?
Stu Duffy, I describe myself as a creative photographer but what does that mean? That means I shoot sets that tell a story and make the viewer think, or I try to challenge their perceptions!
I have an Honours Degree in Digital Art and on the way to a Masters in nothing related to Photography! I primarily enjoy portraiture and my business practice is Documentary, Product and Business Portraiture.
My practice was based in Glasgow and now is in Balfron, This means we want to find 'models' closer to Balfron!
There is no cost to you at any time and you get a selection of the images from the sessions.

At the Studio Shoot
At the Studio Shoot
We will introduce ourselves and go over the what we are doing. Until we meet you it is hard to know what the theme in the studio should be. We have model release forms to sign and take away with you.
What we do in the studio gets altered in post production
On the day of the shoot we cover safety in the studio, explain what everything is and how we use it.
We then start to 'shoot' (take photographs). We have exercises and techniques to help you get the best from the shoot. Never worry, we are very experienced working with people!
During the shoot, we will show you the images so you can understand what the photographer is trying to do and let you see what is happening.
So what happens?

We run studios where you can come along and try the whole 'modelling' thing out. We are sure that you'll have fun, if you haven't done this before you'll definitely have a great experience, everyone enjoys the studio!
If you do enjoy it we will invite you to participate in other studio and location shoots. On these projects we fully brief the shoot and we discuss what outcomes we are looking for. From this we involve all the creatives on the project, including you. In doing this we cover our perceptions, or misconceptions, in the project. It is also much more fun to be involved.
What comes next
What comes next
Involved: You are part of a creative team and, as a creative, you are encouraged to come up with your own projects that we can shoot.
Your Directory: You get your own directory where we post your images. You can download them, use them print them etc.
On location shoots: We try and do this when it is dry! Yeah, we can't predict it either!
Client Shoots: When we work with clients and they need models to act as employees or customers we use you. Yes, you get paid for this.

On all shoots, if you want to, we will teach you photography. We will show you how to use the camera and what the fuss is about the light and the importance of composition.
If you don't have a camera, don't worry we do, you might want to get an SD card.
About the Images
About the Images
We use the images on the website and social media channels. If any of these images are used commercially you get paid. It happens but more often we show clients images when recommending the models we can use for their assignments.
