Modelling sounds like an attractive profession and usually portrayed as glamorous. It's not really any of that for most of the time, though when you are in front of the camera it does feel good.
The great thing is that you are part of a creative team creating magic! If you are looking to build a portfolio for personal reasons, to extend your range or to promote yourself, we can help. We run the Studio Sessions and free up space during our own studio shoots where you can book a session to do just that. And if this is your first time, we walk you through everything, from start to finish!
For those who have started their portfolio we offer a more scripted shoot to cover what you need. Just drop us a line to tell us what you want and we can get the shoot you need.
In building a portfolio, you will want to shoot with a wide variety of photographers, each 'tog' will have a different style and approach the session in different ways. We are happy to be your start or part of your journey.
If you are a model or want to try it, we can usually set time aside during on our own studio sessions, this happens roughly once a month. You can book an hour with us to grab portfolio shots or learn to use a camera. It is very inexpensive, £10 for an hour.
If you have experience or want more time we can provide you with more time. We spend more time on special lighting setups and image processing. We could spend the entire day on some shoot plans but usually we set aside up to 2 hours helping you get that special image.
Whenever you book a session, you are always welcome to invite friends or family to support you.

There are people who exploit models in this area and you should be on guard when you are developing your portfolio.
Be safe on shoots, if you do not know the photographer take someone with you. Most photographers are good and want to nail that great image, but some are a little more nefarious, so having someone with you can offset that.
Always understand that every image is digital and as such it could be seen by everyone, regardless of the steps to make it private. So be guided by that when you decide on your pose and set plan.

These are agencies where we have shot with the models and are known within the industry
We'll add agencies as we use them, there are other agencies but we are located in the west coast of Scotland so it could be that we haven't shot with them.
