I’ve been behind a lens since the days when cameras actually needed film. Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from Royals and politicians to weddings and industrial products. I hold an Honours Degree in Digital Art and an HND in Photography, but honestly, those framed papers are nice, but they've been far surpassed by decades of real-world experience.

I’m not in the "selfies are bad" camp. Actually, from a social history perspective, they’re fascinating, no boy knew what the inside of a girl's bathroom looked like until the bathroom selfie came to light!
I embrace technology. AI is a fantastic tool when used properly, and phone apps are great fun.
However, when you compare a phone snap to what we create together, you’ll see the difference. The camera itself is usually unimportant; it’s the person behind it that matters. While all photos have merit, your expectation of me should be (and will be) far higher.

Off-duty, I’m a Hubby, Father, and Grampa, roles that keep me comfortable and grounded. On-duty, I am a creative perfectionist constantly battling what we call the CAG, "Creative Actual Gap", that excruciating distance between the masterpiece in my mind and the final result.
It’s a noble pursuit, so don’t pity me! Instead, save your admiration for my amazing models, their bravery and cooperation are the bridge that helps me close that gap and create something beautiful.
